Qualifying Races Monday 13 July (13-07-2009)

After a hectic re-weighing of all the teams in underwear (the secretary girls finally got what they wanted!), we managed to get the races started in time.

1st race: Mitch Booth his mast came down

One of the Argentinian Teams broke their daggerboard.

In between 1st and 2nd race wind was shifting so they waited half hour and repositioned the buoys.

Second race is on now. Mitch Booth managed to get his mast back up and is racing again.

For the second group their was a general recall at the first start. The second start was with a black flag. But nobody got disqualified.

Current wind speed: 5 knots WNW

They might shorten this second race as it took them 30 minutes to get to the first buoy.
